Wind microclimate simulations were completed for three site configurations: existing site conditions, proposed within existing surrounds, and proposed within cumulative surrounds. Thus, pedestrian comfort and safety assessment was completed based on the standard Lawson criteria at both ground and terrace levels. The design of target development was improved, thus minimising an adverse impact on the surrounding public realm.
