3D Model Utilised for the Numerical Modelling with Iso-Volume of the Pollution Plume

Through numerical CFD modelling, different sizes and positions of diesel engine generators were assessed. With assessment results, the optimum stack height and place were selected to minimize any adverse impact on the local air quality and environment in case of generators operation. In the assessment it was used critical concentration of NO2 as defined in National air quality objectives and European Directive limit and target values for the protection of human health.
